EVENT3 with new themes
„Security at events and event locations" as a special theme
EVENT3 - the event platform of SHOWTECH - will remain a fixed component of the trade show in 2009 with an expanded offer and the new theme of security. In addition to the exhibition component, during which technology rental companies and providers of additional event services, such as rental furniture, ticketing solutions, etc. will be present, the event industry will again host a three-day lecture programme in Berlin. Costume-Makers Symposium at SHOWTECH again in 2009

The first Costume-Makers Symposium last year was a major success: More than 200 participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland were present at the premiere during SHOWTECH 2007. Complement in the event sector: STB at the same time with SHOWTECH 2009
For two days SHOWTECH will coincide with stb international, the leading German trade show for the event industry, at the Berlin Exhibition Centre and they will complement each other ideally. Particularly congress and conference hotels as well as providers of incentives and event locations will present themselves at stb international. Lightpower | Grand opening: MA Lighting sets up a new Olympic record
With the slogan “One World, One Dream” all nations were invited by the People's Republic of China to the Summer Olympics 2008, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad. The Opening Ceremony has been held in the Beijing National Stadium, - the "Bird's Nest” - which can seat as many as 91,000 spectators.
